Qualification: ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical

Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month

Required: Qualified & Skilled ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical certificate from a recognized institute.

Experience: 2-5 Years

1)Job Responsibilities

• ITI Fitter or ITI Mechanical qualification with basic fitting and mechanical skills
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of herbal extracts/nutraceuticals/food ingredients manufacturing equipment, perform fitting and alignment tasks, support preventive and breakdown maintenance, maintain records and follow safety procedures

2) Role & responsibilities

· Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of herbal extracts, nutraceuticals, food ingredients manufacturing equipment.

· Perform basic fitting, assembly, dismantling, and alignment activities under the supervision of production team.

· Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of Electrical boiler, Chiller, Vacuum pumps, Circulation pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, and other mechanical and utility equipment.

· Support maintenance activities related to manufacturing, utility, and packaging equipment.

· Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely.

· Record maintenance activities in logbooks as per GMP requirements.

· Identify minor mechanical issues and report them promptly.

· Follow Good Engineering Practices (GEP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and applicable safety procedures.

· Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the maintenance workshop and work areas.

· Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing maintenance activities.

· Maintain maintenance records and assist in completing work orders as instructed.

3. Required Skills

· Basic knowledge of fitting tools and mechanical components.

· Understanding of measuring instruments and engineering drawings is desirable.

· Willingness to learn preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

· Good discipline, teamwork, and communication skills.

· Ability to follow safety instructions and company procedures.

4. Eligibility Criteria

· ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical candidates with 2 - 5 years’ experience from herbal, nutraceuticals and food ingredients industries.

· Candidates should be willing to work in shifts, if required.

· Candidates should be willing to work in a herbal extracts manufacturing environment
