Role Overview

The European Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding and assisting students in 

pursuing higher education opportunities across European countries. The role involves 

counseling, application assistance, visa guidance, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end process for 

students aiming to study abroad.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding educational opportunities in European countries (Germany, 
• France, Italy, Netherlands, etc.).
• Provide accurate information on courses, universities, admission procedures, 
• scholarships, cost of living, and career prospects.
• Assist students with application forms, SOPs, LORs, and required documentation.
• Guide students through the visa application process, interview preparation, and 
• financial documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with European universities, colleges, and 
• partner institutions.
• Shortlist suitable universities and programs for students, analyzing eligibility, program 
• ranking, tuition fees, scholarships etc .
• Reach out to previous students, partners, or professional networks to request references for 
• current applicants.
• Collaborate with TL to plan webinars, workshops, and college fairs.
• Contribute ideas for promotional campaigns or create catchy promotions to increase student 
• engagement and lead generation
• Maintain student records, follow up on applications, and update progress in internal 
• systems.
• Participate in seminars, education fairs, and workshops to promote European education 
• opportunities.
• Stay updated on the latest policies, regulations, and trends in European education and 
• visa processes.
• Achieve student recruitment targets as per company goals.
• Requirements
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably in Education, Management, or related fields).
• 1–4 years of experience in overseas education counseling, preferably for Europe.
• Strong knowledge of admission and visa procedures for European countries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to counsel students with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Fluency in English (knowledge of European languages like German/French will be an 
• added advantage)
