Job Description


Position: Team Leader - Debt Recovery & Collection

Department: Financial Services / Accounts Receivable / Risk Management

Reports To: Collections Manager


Key Responsibilities

*Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of collection agents in a fast-paced environment.

*Target Achievement: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet debt recovery and cash flow goals.

*Escalation Handling: Handle difficult debtor negotiations, escalated customer complaints, and complex skip-tracing or recovery cases.

*Compliance & Quality: Ensure all collection activities strictly adhere to legal regulations, fair debt practices, and company policies.

*Performance Management: Conduct regular coaching sessions, evaluations, and compliance audits through call monitoring.
