Telecalling Team Leader

About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented Team Leader to manage and motivate a team of telecallers for our loan products. The candidate will be responsible for team performance, lead generation, employee training, recruitment support, and achieving monthly business targets.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage, supervise, and motivate a team of approximately 10 telecallers.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly calling targets and monitor performance.
• Generate qualified leads for business loans, mortgage loans, home loans, and working capital loans.
• Train new employees on loan products, calling scripts, customer handling, and objection management.
• Monitor daily calls, follow-ups, lead quality, and conversion ratios.
• Ensure telecallers follow up consistently with prospective customers and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Coordinate with sales executives and banking partners to move qualified leads forward.
• Conduct daily team meetings and performance reviews.
• Identify low performers, provide coaching, and improve overall team productivity.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new telecallers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Maintain professional communication, ethical sales practices, and customer data confidentiality.
• Required Skills & Qualifications2–5 years of experience in telecalling or telesales, with at least 1 year in a team-leading role preferred.
• Experience in banking, financial services, loans, insurance, or related sales is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to motivate a team and achieve business targets.
• Good knowledge of Excel, CRM software, and daily reporting.
• Ability to analyse team performance and improve lead conversion.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools, CRM automation, and digital productivity tools is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, ethical, and results-oriented.
