POSITION OVERVIEW

Ad World Signages is seeking creative and technical Architectural Signage Designers to manage signage design projects from initial concept through to final production handoff. The successful candidate will combine creative design expertise with structural and practical material knowledge, conducting precise site surveys, coordinating with clients, and ensuring seamless execution with engineering and production teams.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Kick-off & Alignment: Lead initial kick-off meetings with clients and management to gather design briefs, functional requirements, and brand guidelines. 

Site Surveys & Measurements: Perform mandatory on-site visits prior to design initiation to capture precise structural measurements, structural constraints, and contextual aesthetics. 

2D Vectoring & Technical Production Drawings: Prepare accurate 2D vector layouts, fabrication details, and scaled production files using AutoCAD, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW. 

3D Visualizations & Rendering: Develop high-quality 3D models and photorealistic environmental renderings using SketchUp, V-Ray, and D5 Render for client approval.

Structural Engineering & Safety Collaboration: Design structural supports, framing, and mounting details; consult with structural engineers to ensure physical safety, stability, and compliance.

Production & Site Handover: Present and explain finalized technical drawings to fabrication workshops and site supervisors to ensure execution aligns with design specifications. 

Material & Hardware Selection: Apply strong practical knowledge of signage materials (acrylic, ACP, metals, LEDs, structural steel) to recommend suitable options for longevity and budget.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY 

2D Design & Drafting: AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW (Expert level required for vector/CNC output). 

3D Modeling & Rendering: SketchUp, V-Ray, D5 Render. 

Material & Fabrication Expertise: Understanding of metal fabrication, illumination/LED systems, structural joinery, and print setups. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in the signage design industry.

Strong command of both 2D vector detailing and high-end 3D visual rendering. 

Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with clients, engineers, and production supervisors. 

Strong problem-solving capability with attention to measurement accuracy and structural safety.
