Our ideal candidate will be a vital cog in the Home Plans category, with strong communication, ownership, high levels of integrity, growth mindset and an obsession to drive results. As a Senior Architect, for the Home Plans Category, you will be providing / generating the main Architectural Designs content for the Home Plans Catalogue both inhouse and crowdsourced for upload onto the website. In addition to evaluating current Home Plans catalogue health, the Senior Architect should have a keen understanding of latest trends and success in this position will be determined by having the creativity and advanced knowledge necessary to produce designs (stock & custom) that are innovative, sustainable, functional, aesthetic, relevant and trendy while taking into account both the Home Plans Category needs & client needs and collaborate with other departments to create the perfect consumer experience symphony. The ideal candidate will bring a creative vision, technical expertise and strong leadership skills to our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Development & Management

1. Create designs for new construction projects, alterations and redevelopments.
2. Coordinate / Prepare drawings, blueprints, specifications and all construction documents by using specialist computer-aided design applications for the Home Plans Category.
3. Ensure compliance with safety standards and local planning regulations.
4. Prepare guidelines and checklists for content specifying quality, file size etc for upload onto the website.
5. Curate and showcase content (UI / UX) that is aesthetic, relevant, trendy and functionally easy to use on the website according to SKU type and revenue model.
6. Understand the vision of the Home Plans Category, curate and deliver innovative, aesthetic and functional designs within deadlines by effectively recruiting, coordinating and managing relationships with other business participants (Architects / Contractors etc). 
7. Assist in error free and timely delivery of the UI / UX stages of development by periodically testing and evaluating based on the approved work flows and goals of the category.

Customer Experience (CX)

• Create the vision for the Customer Experience (CX) Function for the Home Plans Category.
• Create, Manage and Execute the Home Plan Category’s CX strategy to provide consumers seamless experiences.
• Engage with consumers who have opted in for Modifications / Bespoke Services (Build your plan), taking the brief and determining their needs and requirements.
• Build strong relationships with consumers and ensure every touchpoint with the consumer is efficient, engaging and effective. Put together design proposals and make adaptations / corrections when needed.
• Orchestrate immersive experiences for consumers by working collaboratively with other departments tying that up to overall business growth
• Deliver world class customer experiences and delight every customer by leading the end user experience
• Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, aesthetic and functional design.

Others

• Conduct regular design reviews to ensure the quality and accuracy of architectural plans.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the design phase.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for project proposals and client presentations.
• Work closely with other architects, designers and engineers to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to architects and the back end design team.
• Design & groom spaces that are owned by the parent group as and when required keeping budgets in check always.
• Monitor consumer data and prepare reports on category performance.

SKILL SETS

1. Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a reputed institution.
2. Experience : 2 - 6 yrs proven experience in architectural design with a strong focus on residential projects and home plans. A strong portfolio is preferred.
3. Design Skills : Expertise in residential architecture, including space planning, design aesthetics and functionality. Strong creative and visualization skills.
4. Technical Proficiency : Knowledge of MS Office and software programs like AUTOCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup.
5. Customer Relations : Customer interface mandatory. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. 
6. Detail Oriented : A keen eye for detail as well as the ability to see the bigger picture of the project. Ability to produce high quality, accurate and detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
7. Innovation : Ability to incorporate contemporary trends and sustainable practices into home designs.
8. Leadership : Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in mentoring and guiding design teams.
9. Adaptability : Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs and project requirements.
