About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Manager - Technology to join the Technology Resiliency Risk & Regulatory Management team, responsible for driving risk governance, regulatory compliance, control oversight, and resiliency-related initiatives across the organization.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a team of specialists and coordinators tasked with activities in support of the business' risk mitigation activities
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and control opportunities
• Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of team to meet business objectives; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity and risk within scope of responsibilities
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for team
• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:  work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or other recognized Risk and Control Management certifications.
• Industry-recognized Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk governance, control frameworks, and regulatory compliance practices.

Job Expectations

• Lead and manage teams within the TREX Risk & Regulatory Management (IDM) organization, driving strategic execution and operational excellence.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in risk management, risk reporting, control frameworks, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk programs.
• Provide strong people leadership, including talent development, coaching, performance management, and fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Drive effective governance, regulatory engagement, issue remediation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory expectations, and risk management standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead complex programs, influence across functions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
