BDL – Job Description ● Position: BDL / Sr. BDL ● Industry: Fintech / Digital Payments ● Qualification: Graduate (Mandatory) ● Age Limit: Up to 35–38 Years ● Payroll: Third-Party Payroll ● Role Type: Field Sales & Team Handling Hiring Category BDL ● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience ● Minimum 1 year of mandatory team-handling experience ● Strong experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, or digital payments will be preferred Role Overview The Business Development Lead (BDL) will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition and digital payment adoption in the assigned territory. The role involves managing and leading a team of Field Sales Executives (FOS/FSEs), driving the deployment of QR codes and soundbox devices, achieving business targets, and maintaining strong merchant relationships. Key Responsibilities ● Bring and onboard a team of 7–10 FOS/FSEs on the date of joining. ● Drive merchant onboarding for digital payment solutions ● Promote and sell QR codes, Soundbox devices, and other payment solutions ● Monitor daily sales activities and field performance ● Manage, guide, motivate, and support the field sales team ● Train team members on sales processes, products, and merchant acquisition ● Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets ● Track team productivity and take corrective actions to improve performance ● Maintain strong relationships with merchants and ensure quality onboarding ● Drive business growth and achieve assigned territory target.
