A.     Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead electrical design Team for pharmaceutical and biotech facility projects. This role requires engineering professional with proven expertise in electrical systems design, and multi-disciplinary project coordination. The Electrical Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs from concept through detailed engineering and site commissioning for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing environments.

B.     Key Responsibilities

1.      Lead and direct the electrical design process from concept phase through detailed engineering for pharma/biotech facility projects

2.      Prepare, review, and approve single-line diagrams, load lists, and system designs

3.      Develop comprehensive electrical documentation including cable schedules, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

4.      Ensure all designs comply with pharmaceutical industry standards, GMP requirements, and applicable electrical codes (IEC, NEC, local standards)

5.      Maintain design quality and consistency across all deliverables

6.      Coordinate electrical systems with HVAC, process engineering, civil/structural, and cleanroom design teams

7.      Evaluate technical bids from electrical equipment suppliers and contractors

8.      Provide on-site technical support during equipment installation and testing phases

9.      Review and approve vendor-provided drawings and technical documentation at site

C.    Required Qualifications

1.      Min bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

2.      Minimum 5years of experience in electrical design and engineering

3.      Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech facility projects

4.      Hands-on experience preparing single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable schedules, and electrical layouts

5.      Knowledge of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical industry standards

D.    Technical Skills

1.      Electrical Design Software: AutoCAD, Revit

2.      Single-line diagram design and power system analysis

3.      Load calculations and electrical sizing

4.      Cable scheduling and routing

5.      Lighting design (photometric calculations, compliance)

6.      Earthing and grounding system design

7.      Power distribution and switchboard design

8.      Electrical safety systems and protection coordination
