Electrical Technician

Job Summary:

The Smart Home & Security Systems Integrator is responsible for the end-to-end design, installation, programming, and maintenance of residential and commercial low-voltage ecosystems. This multi-disciplinary role bridges home automation, automated gate entry, and CCTV surveillance into seamless, secure, and user-friendly networks. The ideal candidate blends mechanical aptitude with advanced networking skills to deliver fully connected property solutions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Home Automation Integration: Install, configure, and program centralized smart home platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Savant) to control lighting, climate, audio/visual, and motorized shades.
• Perimeter Access & Gate Automation: Mount and wire mechanical swing/slide gate operators, hydraulic systems, and loop detectors. Integrate entry hardware including keypads, intercoms, RFID readers, and telephone entry systems.
• CCTV & Video Surveillance: Conduct site surveys to eliminate blind spots. Install IP and analog cameras (bullet, dome, PTZ), configure NVR/DVR storage, and optimize video compression and retention settings.
• Network & Low-Voltage Infrastructure: Run, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 and coaxial cabling. Set up robust Wi-Fi networks, network switches, and routers to ensure seamless connectivity for all IoT and security devices.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair hardware failures, electrical shorts, faulty wiring, firmware bugs, and network drops across all integrated systems.
• Client Handover & Support: Educate clients on operating system dashboards, mobile apps, and remote viewing capabilities, providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications :

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Networking (preferred).
• 0–3 years of experience in CCTV installation or monitoring.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance technology.
