Firefighting Engineer

● Plan, supervise, and execute firefighting and plumbing works at the construction site.

● Review and understand MEP drawings, firefighting layouts, plumbing drawings, and specifications.

● Supervise installation of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump, hose reel, fire alarm interface, and related systems.

● Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and other MEP teams.

● Monitor installation of pipes, valves, pumps, supports, and firefighting equipment.

● Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.

● Conduct pressure testing, flushing, testing, and commissioning of firefighting and plumbing systems.

● Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and site supervisors.

● Check material requirements and coordinate with the store/procurement team.

● Maintain daily progress reports, inspection requests, checklists, and site documentation.

● Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety standards and project requirements.

● Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions.

● Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices at the work area.

Required Skills

● Good knowledge of Firefighting & Plumbing MEP systems.

● Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.

● Knowledge of fire hydrant and sprinkler systems.

● Knowledge of plumbing piping and drainage systems.

● Good site coordination and team-management skills.

● Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.

● Good communication and reporting skills.
