Job Description
Functioning as Head – Quality & Compliance is entrusted with the responsibility to establish and lead the plant's quality management system, ensuring incoming material,
in-process and final products meet customer, regulatory and internal quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Define and implement the plant's quality management system (AS9100D/ISO 9001) and quality plans.
• Oversee incoming raw material inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection functions.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality non-conformance.
• Monitor quality KPIs (rejection rate, customer complaints, PPM) and drive improvement plans.
• Lead customer and third-party quality audits and certifications.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering for quality-related process improvements.
• Approve/reject batches based on inspection and testing results.
• Build and develop the quality inspection and documentation team.
• Maintain the plant's AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality management system in line with aerospace and defence customer requirements.
Own First Article Inspection (AS9102) and material/process qualification for new forged components.
