About The Chaap House by Venero

The Chaap House by Venero is a growing food and beverage concept specializing in chaap, wraps, Indian comfort food, coffee, hot chocolate, and beverages.

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Indian Chef to join our kitchen team and help us maintain consistent food quality as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Indian food and chaap-based dishes according to standardized recipes and portion specifications.
• Handle daily food preparation, marination, cooking, plating, and order execution.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and quality.
• Manage the hot kitchen section efficiently during busy service hours.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, prepared, and used efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Monitor ingredient usage and communicate stock requirements to the management.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately while maintaining consistency.
• Assist with preparation and testing of new menu items when required.
• Keep the kitchen workstation organized and ready for service.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Indian Chef / Commis Chef / Line Cook in a restaurant, café, cloud kitchen, or similar food-service environment.
• Good knowledge of Indian cooking techniques.
• Experience with chaap, tandoori-style preparations, gravies, wraps, and Indian snacks is preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak hours.
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, growing food business.
