Job Description
- Hyderabad City Head – Taxi Pickup Zone | Hyderabad AirportKey ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee airport taxi pickup operations and ensure smooth passenger movement.
- Supervise taxi drivers, fleet partners, ground staff, and pickup-zone coordinators.
- Ensure sufficient taxi availability during peak arrival and departure hours.
- Coordinate with airport authorities, security teams, parking operators, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor driver attendance, vehicle availability, queue management, and passenger wait times.
- Ensure drivers follow designated airport pickup zones, traffic rules, and operational SOPs.
- Handle passenger complaints, driver issues, cancellations, and service escalations.
- Track daily bookings, completed trips, cancellations, revenue, and driver utilization.
- Identify operational gaps and take corrective action to improve service levels.
- Recruit, onboard, and train drivers and ground staff when required.
- Ensure all vehicles and drivers meet applicable documentation, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with local taxi partners and expand the available fleet when demand increases.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and share performance updates with management.
- Monitor competitor activity and local market conditions and recommend operational improvements.
- Manage emergencies and service disruptions at the airport pickup point and coordinate timely resolution.
