Role & responsibilities

To achieve assigned sales targets by engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, explaining product offerings, facilitating purchase decisions, and ensuring seamless completion of sales transactions while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Engagement

• Welcome and engage customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate and explain product features, benefits, and value propositions.
• Guide customers in selecting suitable products based on their requirements.
• Prepare quotations/estimates and complete sales transactions accurately.
• Achieve category-wise sales targets for the assigned section.
• Assist customers with product returns, exchanges, and repair-related requests.
• Build long-term customer relationships to enhance repeat business and customer loyalty.

2. Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Adhere to all store operating procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of opening and closing stock.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Ensure products are displayed attractively and in compliance with visual merchandising standards.
• Transfer stock securely to designated lockers/storage areas at the end of the day.
• Safeguard merchandise and promptly report theft, losses, or suspicious activities.
• Identify and report slow-moving or dead stock to the Store Manager.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency programs.

3. Customer Service & Complaint Resolution

• Handle customer queries and complaints in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer concerns.
• Create a positive shopping experience to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist customers throughout their purchase journey and post-sales requirements.

4. Feedback Management

• Collect customer feedback and share insights with merchandising, retail operations, and related teams.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction scores and store ratings.
• Identify customer trends and communicate suggestions for enhancing products and services.

5. Coordination & Team Support

• Collaborate with Regional Teams, Visual Merchandising (VM), Merchandising, Marketing, and Support Teams.
• Support store promotions, campaigns, events, and customer engagement activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with peers and industry contacts to understand market trends and best practices.
