“Scrub Executive” plays a crucial role in supporting surgeons and clinical teams during surgeries by ensuring timely availability, handling, and maintenance of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The role ensures smooth OT operations, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient coordination with hospital staff.

Core Responsibilities as Clinical Service Executive:

As an "Clinical Service Executive " (often referred to as a Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Assistant in a clinical setting) has a critical role in an operating theatre, primarily focused on maintaining a sterile field and assisting the surgical team during procedures. 

·          Aseptic Preparation: Preparing oneself by using sterile techniques like scrubbing, gowning and gloving before a procedure.

·          Sterile Field Management: Ensuring the sterility of all instruments, trays, linen, and equipment used during surgery.

·          Instrument Preparation: Preparing and arranging the instruments and equipment needed for the specific surgical procedure.

·          Surgical Assistance: Providing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assistant surgeons as needed during the operation.

·          Counts and Records: Performing initial and final counts of sponges, instruments, and needles with the circulating nurse to prevent items from being left inside a patient.

·          OT Cleanliness: Ensuring the operating theatre is cleaned before cases and performing terminal cleaning after all surgeries, following strict hygiene and safety protocols.

·          Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory checks and ensuring used items are cleaned, disinfected, and sent for sterilization. 

·          Reporting Pattern: Need to update his attendance on a regular basis.

Basis Requirements

·          Bike is compulsory with valid driving license

·          Willingness to travel

·          Good communication & coordination skills
