Job Description
- 1. Security OperationsSupervise and monitor security guards deployed at the site.
- Ensure proper deployment of guards as per duty roster and site requirements.
- Conduct regular rounds and inspections of the premises.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.
- Ensure proper functioning of security procedures and access control systems.
- 2. Manpower & Duty Management Prepare and manage daily duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability for all shifts.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline of security guards.
- Arrange replacement manpower in case of absenteeism or emergencies.
- Conduct regular briefings and toolbox talks for security staff.
- 3. Access Control & Visitor ManagementEnsure proper verification of employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain visitor and vehicle entry/exit records.
- Monitor material movement and ensure proper authorization for material removal.
- Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
- 4. Incident & Emergency ManagementRespond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, theft, accidents, fire, and other site-related issues.
- Report incidents immediately to the Facility/Security Manager and client representative.
- Prepare and maintain incident reports and security records.
- Coordinate with emergency services and local authorities when required.
- Ensure security staff are aware of emergency and evacuation procedures.
- 5. Client Coordination & ReportingMaintain professional communication with the client and site management.
- Understand and implement client-specific security requirements.
- Submit daily/weekly security reports as required.
- Escalate security concerns, manpower shortages, and operational issues promptly.
- Attend client meetings and security review discussions when required.
- 6. Security Training & DisciplineTrain security guards on site rules, security procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
- Ensure guards follow proper uniform, grooming, and identification standards.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct among security personnel.
- Conduct regular briefings and awareness sessions.
- Documentation & RecordsMaintain attendance and duty deployment records.
- Maintain visitor, vehicle, material movement, and incident registers.
- Maintain shift handover/takeover records.
- Prepare daily occurrence reports and other required security documentation.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Security manpower availability and deployment.
- Guard attendance and punctuality.
- Compliance with site security procedures.
- Incident response and reporting.
- Visitor and access-control management.
- Client satisfaction and complaint resolution.
- Accuracy and timely submission of security reports.
- Required SkillsLeadership and team supervision skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of security procedures and access control.
- Ability to handle emergency and critical situations.
