Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Welder / Fitter responsible for fabricating, assembling, fitting, and welding metal components according to drawings, measurements, and specifications. The candidate should be able to operate welding and fitting tools safely and maintain good quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesRead and understand engineering drawings, sketches, and measurements.
• Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding as required.
• Cut, grind, drill, and prepare metal components for fabrication.
• Fit and assemble structural and mechanical components accurately.
• Perform tack welding and final welding as per specifications.
• Check dimensions, alignment, and quality of fabricated parts.
• Operate grinders, cutting machines, drilling machines, welding machines, and other hand tools.
• Identify and rectify welding defects and fitting issues.
• Maintain welding and fitting equipment in good working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.
• Complete assigned work within required timelines.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read basic engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Good knowledge of measuring tools such as measuring tape, vernier caliper, and try square.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Good understanding of metal cutting, fitting, and welding.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualification & ExperienceITI / Diploma in Welder, Fitter, Fabrication, or related trade preferred.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Freshers with relevant ITI qualification may also be considered, depending on the position.
• Safety RequirementsMust follow all safety instructions and welding safety standards.
• Proper use of helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles, and other PPE is mandatory.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
