About the Role

Sanatan Express India Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, billing, GST, TDS, payments and financial records.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime
• Prepare and verify sales/purchase invoices and freight bills
• Handle bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation and payment entries
• Manage GST returns, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation
• Handle TDS calculation, records and returns
• Maintain vendor/customer ledgers and outstanding reports
• Verify bills, supporting documents and payment details
• Coordinate for bill submission and payment follow-ups
• Maintain records of expenses, advances and settlements
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting compliance
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and customers regarding accounts-related matters
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS
• Good understanding of accounting principles and ledger reconciliation
• Experience in billing, payment processing and bank reconciliation
• Good communication skills and confidence
• Ability to independently handle day-to-day accounting activities
• Accuracy and attention to detail
