About the Company
Anita Integrated Ventures Private Limited is a growing company based in the Shahdol region of Madhya Pradesh. We are developing our operations in civil construction, infrastructure projects and project support services.
Our civil construction activities include projects such as roads, buildings, RCC works, dams/anicuts, drainage works, earthwork, industrial civil works and other infrastructure development works.
We work in a practical, execution-focused environment where planning, cost control, quality, timely billing and coordination between the site and office are important for successful project delivery.
Job Role
We are looking for a Billing & Planning Engineer – Civil who can independently handle project planning, quantity calculations, client billing, subcontractor billing, progress monitoring and coordination with site teams.
The candidate should have good practical knowledge of civil construction and should be comfortable working with BOQ, drawings, measurements, Excel and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Quantity Management
- Prepare and submit RA Bills / Client Bills based on executed quantities.
- Prepare quantity calculations from BOQ and drawings.
- Check site measurements and prepare measurement sheets and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of BOQ quantity, executed quantity, billed quantity and balance quantity.
- Prepare and verify subcontractor/vendor bills.
- Identify extra items, deviation quantities and non-BOQ works and maintain proper records for billing.
- Coordinate with client engineers for measurement, bill certification and billing-related queries.
- Maintain billing and payment trackers.
- Assist in rate analysis and quantity reconciliation.
Planning & Project Control
- Prepare project schedules and execution plans.
- Prepare monthly, weekly and daily work targets.
- Prepare 7-day, 15-day, 30-day and 60/90-day look-ahead plans.
- Monitor Planned vs Actual Progress.
- Identify delays and prepare catch-up/recovery plans.
- Prepare activity-wise manpower, machinery and material requirements.
- Plan deployment of equipment such as JCB, Excavator/Poclain, Hyva, Grader, Roller, Crane, Concrete Mixer/Batching Plant/Ajax, etc.
- Forecast requirements for cement, steel, sand, aggregate, murrum/WMM, shuttering and other construction materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Store, Site Engineers and Project Management for timely availability of resources.
Progress Monitoring & MIS
- Collect and review Daily Progress Reports (DPR) from sites.
- Prepare Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
- Prepare project progress charts, S-Curves and MIS reports.
- Monitor project productivity, resource utilization and important project milestones.
- Maintain drawing, approval, material and work-front pending trackers.
- Highlight potential delays, material shortages and other project bottlenecks to management in advance.
- Participate in client and internal project review meetings.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Civil Billing & Quantity Calculation
- BOQ and drawing reading
- RA Billing & Measurement
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera
- AutoCAD drawing-reading knowledge
- Construction planning & scheduling
- Material and manpower planning
- Basic rate analysis and cost-control knowledge
- Good coordination and documentation skills
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Candidates with practical site experience in Road, Building, RCC, Earthwork, Dam/Anicut, Drainage or Industrial Civil Projects will be preferred.
Experience
Preferred: 2–5 years
Candidates should preferably have hands-on experience in both Billing and Planning, rather than experience limited only to office documentation.
What We Expect
We need a practical engineer who can understand what is happening at site, convert actual site progress into proper billing and reports, and simultaneously plan the upcoming work.
The engineer should be able to answer management questions such as:
How much work is completed? How much is billed? What is pending? What resources are required next? Where is the project getting delayed? And what is required to complete the project on time?
