Area Sales Manager

Role ObjectiveThe Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing Mee Mee retail stores across Jaipur and the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving store sales targets, improving operational standards, managing store teams and delivering an excellent customer experience.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage the performance and daily operations of all assigned retail stores.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual store sales targets.
• Monitor store-wise sales, conversion, ATV, UPT and category performance.
• Conduct regular store visits and operational audits.
• Review daily sales reports and prepare corrective action plans for low-performing stores.
• Recruit, train, guide and review Store Managers and retail staff.
• Ensure optimum staffing, attendance, grooming and discipline across stores.
• Improve customer service, product knowledge and selling skills of store teams.
• Ensure proper stock availability and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and ageing inventory.
• Minimise stock shortages, damages, pilferage and inventory variance.
• Ensure correct product display, visual merchandising and planogram compliance.
• Implement promotional campaigns, discount schemes and new product launches.
• Monitor customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, billing processes and store policies.
• Coordinate with HR, Warehouse, Marketing, Finance and Customer Care teams.
• Identify suitable locations and support new store openings when required.
• Monitor local competitors, pricing, promotions and customer trends.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
