Job Description 

Drive merchant activation, transactions and GMV growth for the Benow EMI business across the assigned geography. The role will focus on increasing merchant productivity, driving regular transactions through the Benow application, and ensuring merchants are aware of and actively promote relevant Bank, Brand and Benow offers/campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Visit assigned merchants regularly as per the beat plan and ensure consistent merchant engagement.

Drive merchant activation, transactions and GMV through the Benow application.

Manage and improve productivity of an assigned portfolio of approximately 150–175 merchants.

Identify inactive, dormant and low-performing merchants and take corrective actions to improve transactions.

Educate and train merchants/promoters on Benow EMI, products, offers, schemes and campaigns.

Communicate and drive Bank, Brand and Benow offers at the merchant level to increase customer adoption.

Build strong relationships with merchants to improve engagement, retention and business growth.

Coordinate with internal teams to resolve merchant and operational issues.

Track daily performance against targets and share market/competitor insights with the manager.

Desired Profile

2–3 years of experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, fintech, telecom, consumer durables, distribution or account management.

Strong field orientation and willingness to travel within the assigned geography.

Good communication and merchant relationship-management skills.

Comfortable working with sales, transaction and GMV targets.

Ability to independently manage a large merchant portfolio and drive business outcomes through regular field visits and follow-ups
