Job Summary

The Chef is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining quality standards, ensuring kitchen hygiene, and supporting smooth kitchen operations. The role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Support senior chefs during service periods and peak hours.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
