2. Key Responsibilities

Production planning and action with

• Prepare cost sheets for every style (fabric, trims, accessories, stitching, finishing, overheads).
• Calculate fabric consumption & yield based on pattern and garment size.
• Work on rate negotiation with vendors and buyers.
• Compare costing vs actual production cost and control variance.
• Support production team for rate-related clarifications and budget control.
• Maintain all costing data, BOM (Bill of Material), and supplier rates.
• Ensure profit margins are maintained as per company target.
• Coordinate with design, production, and purchase departments for final costing approval.
• Update management with costing analysis reports and price benchmarks.
• Maintain confidentiality of buyer costing and company pricing structure.

3. Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of garment costing, consumption, and rate calculation.
• Deep understanding of fabric types, trims, and garment production process.
• Good command over Excel / Google Sheets for costing & analysis.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication and negotiation skills with buyers and vendors.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple styles/orders simultaneously.
• Knowledge of ladies wear production flow (preferred).
