Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the senior accounts team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
• Assist in preparation of invoices, bills, and vouchers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and sales reconciliations
• Assist in GST filing and compliance
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with company policies
• Work on accounting software (Tally/ERP)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST
• Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, or other accounting tools
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of GST filing and compliance
• Experience with accounting software (Tally ERP)
• Basic understanding of taxation and auditing
