Production Manager

Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all production activities related to visiting cards, wedding cards, invitation cards, and other printed stationery products. The role ensures that production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee the complete production process from job allocation to final dispatch.

Manage daily production schedules to meet customer deadlines.

Supervise printing, cutting, lamination, foil stamping, embossing, die-cutting, binding, and packaging operations.

Ensure all products meet company quality standards before dispatch.

Coordinate with the Sales, Design, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor machine performance and schedule preventive maintenance.

Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.

Maintain inventory of paper, ink, boards, laminates, and other production materials.

Minimize production waste and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures.

Train, guide, and evaluate production staff to improve performance and efficiency.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Printing Technology, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3–8 years of experience in the printing industry, preferably in visiting cards, wedding cards, invitation cards, or commercial printing.

Experience in managing offset, digital, and post-press production processes is preferred.
