Telesales Executive

Job Title: Telesales Executive – Accounting Software

Job Summary

We are looking for a Telesales Executive who has knowledge of Tally and accounting software and can confidently communicate with customers, understand their requirements, explain software solutions, generate leads, and convert enquiries into sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers and follow up on leads and enquiries.
• Understand customers' accounting and business requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.
• Demonstrate and explain the features, benefits, and pricing of accounting software and Tally integration solutions.
• Generate new leads through telecalling, follow-ups, referrals, and other sales activities.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective customers and move leads through the sales process.
• Handle customer questions, objections, and concerns in a professional manner.
• Use good convincing and negotiation skills to convert prospects into customers.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
• Coordinate with the technical/support team whenever required for product demonstrations or customer queries.
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and basic accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of accounting software, billing software, GST, invoicing, or business management software will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in Telesales, Telecalling, Inside Sales, or Software Sales is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and explain technical/software features in simple language.
• Good follow-up skills with a sales-oriented and target-driven approach.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM, WhatsApp, and other sales tools.
• Positive attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in Tally/accounting software sales will be preferred.
• Candidates having experience selling Tally, ERP, billing, GST, POS, or other accounting/business software will have an added advantage.
• Candidates with strong Tally knowledge and good communication skills who are willing to move into software sales are also encouraged to apply.
• Freshers with good communication and convincing skills and basic accounting/Tally knowledge may also be considered.
