Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, proactive and customer-focused Travel Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and managing Domestic tour packages for Inbound & Domestic clients, along with strong destination knowledge and excellent coordination skills.
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the travel and tourism industry
- Practical experience in handling travel bookings, tour operations and customer enquiries
- Experience in inbound tourism will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and domestic travel enquiries professionally
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable travel solutions
- Design and customize holiday packages according to client preferences and budgets
- Prepare detailed itineraries covering hotels, transportation, transfers, sightseeing and activities
- Manage hotel reservations and coordinate with hotels, transporters, guides and other suppliers
- Negotiate rates and obtain competitive quotations from travel partners
- Prepare quotations, booking confirmations, vouchers and other travel documents
- Coordinate all arrangements from booking confirmation through tour completion
- Maintain accurate booking records and follow up with clients and suppliers
- Handle booking amendments, cancellations and operational issues efficiently
- Provide timely assistance to guests before and during their journey
- Stay updated on destinations, hotels, attractions, seasonal trends and travel regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of major Indian tourist destinations
- Good itinerary-planning and package-costing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer-handling, negotiation and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, email communication and online booking platforms
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and work effectively under deadlines
- Detail-oriented, responsible and solution-driven approach
- Graduate degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism will be preferred
