Education Counsellor

1. Student Counseling & Guidance

Assess students’ academic background, interests, and career objectives

Recommend suitable countries (e.g., United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, Europe ) and programs

Provide information about universities, admission criteria, scholarships, and career prospects

2. Admission Support

Assist students with application forms and documentation

Guide on writing SOPs (Statement of Purpose), LORs (Letters of Recommendation), and resumes

Track application deadlines and follow up with institutions

3. Test & Visa Guidance

Advise students on required entrance exams such as International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)

Support students with visa documentation and interview preparation

Keep updated on immigration policies and embassy requirements

4. Relationship Management

Maintain communication with partner universities and colleges

Attend education fairs, webinars, and networking events

Build strong relationships with students and parents

5. Administrative Duties

Maintain student records and CRM updates

Meet monthly enrollment targets

Prepare reports for management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

Experience in study abroad counseling or international admissions (1–3+ years preferred)

Strong knowledge of global education systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with targets and deadlines
