Team Leader

1. JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a confident, responsible and result-oriented Team Leader who can lead our Sales Team like a Captain.

The candidate will be responsible for planning sales targets, assigning responsibilities, motivating team members, monitoring performance and ensuring successful achievement of assigned targets.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. TEAM LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

* Lead, guide and manage the Sales Team.

* Assign daily, weekly and monthly targets to team members.

* Motivate and support team members to achieve their goals.

* Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

* Take ownership of the overall team's performance.

B. TARGET PLANNING & ACHIEVEMENT

* Set clear sales targets for every team member.

* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales plans.

* Monitor target achievement regularly.

* Identify performance gaps and take corrective actions.

* Develop strategies to increase sales and conversions.

C. SALES MONITORING & REPORTING

* Monitor daily enquiries, leads, follow-ups and order conversions.

* Track individual employee performance.

* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.

* Share performance updates with management.

* Ensure proper use of CRM and reporting systems.

D. CUSTOMER & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

* Ensure timely customer follow-ups.

* Help the team convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

* Handle important customer relationships.

* Identify new business opportunities.

* Improve customer satisfaction and retention.

E. DISCIPLINE & ACCOUNTABILITY

* Maintain team discipline and productivity.

* Ensure timely completion of assigned work.

* Take responsibility for team commitments and results.

* Coordinate with other departments for smooth order processing.

* Build a positive, professional and target-oriented team environment.

3. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

* Graduate in any discipline.

* 1–5 years of experience in Sales Team Leadership or Sales Management.

* Previous experience in handling a sales team is required.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent target-setting and target-achievement abilities.

* Good communication skills in Hindi and English.

* Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work under pressure.

* Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.

* Previous employer's experience letter is mandatory.
