Social Worker

We're looking for a Social Worker to bridge patient care with hospital administration — someone who can manage people, keep operations organized, and be the human touchpoint for patients and families navigating treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Consultation & Support

Counsel patients and families on treatment processes, hospital procedures, and available financial/insurance options (PMJAY, Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Yojana, etc.)

Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and administration to resolve concerns

Support patients emotionally during difficult diagnoses (e.g., stroke, paralysis cases) and connect them with appropriate resources

People Management

Supervise ward attendants, support staff, and front-desk personnel

Coordinate staff schedules and daily task allocation

Handle escalations and ensure smooth day-to-day floor operations

Back-Office & Records Management

Maintain accurate patient records, admission/discharge documentation, and case files

Prepare and manage daily/weekly/monthly reports (OPD footfall, revenue summaries, bed occupancy, etc.)

Handle correspondence, filing, and general administrative upkeep

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's in Social Work (BSW/MSW) preferred; healthcare administration background also considered

Strong communication skills (local language + English)

Comfortable with basic computer work — MS Excel, record-keeping software

Prior hospital/clinic experience

Empathetic, organized, and able to multitask under pressure
