Job Description

Qualification: ITI Welder + Valid IBR Certificate (Mandatory)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a certified and experienced IBR Welder to join our manufacturing team for fabrication of pressure vessels, boilers, piping, and oil & gas equipment as per IBR and ASME standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform IBR welding on boilers, pressure vessels, high-pressure piping & heat exchangers
Handle SMAW, GTAW / TIG, MIG welding in 6G positionRead and interpret fabrication drawings, WPS, PQR and Isometric drawings
Ensure 100% compliance with IBR, ASME Sec IX and QC / NDT requirements
Conduct root, hot, fill and capping passes with zero defects
Coordinate with QC team for DPT, RT, Hydro-test
Maintain welding equipment, consumables and daily welding reports
Follow strict safety norms and PPE protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid IBR Welder Certificate is MUST
5+ years experience in Oil & Gas, Power Plant, or Heavy Fabrication industry
Expertise in CS, SS, Alloy Steel welding
Qualified in 6G / 6GR positionKnowledge of pre-heating, PWHT, and material identification
Ability to pass client / TPI witnessed weld test
Willing to work in shifts / at project sites
