Job Description

Greet customers and provide polite, professional service.

Process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other payment transactions.

Operate the cash register or POS (Point of Sale) system.

Issue bills, receipts, and invoices to customers.

Count cash and maintain accurate records of daily transactions.

Verify prices, discounts, and promotional offers.

Handle customer queries and resolve minor billing issues.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.

Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift.

Report cash discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor.

Follow company policies and procedures for payment handling.
