Junior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a organized and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting work and support our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily books of accounts and record all financial transactions in Tally
• Prepare GST invoices, quotations and billing for customers
• Handle GST data entry and assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Track payments, receivables and payables; follow up on pending payments
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain expense records
• Manage petty cash and vendor payments
• Assist in TDS calculation and filing
• Prepare monthly MIS and expense reports
• Coordinate with the CA for audits and compliance

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / Commerce graduate (CA Inter or pursuing CA is a plus)
• Working knowledge of Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and MS Excel
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS and accounting principles
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English
• Accuracy, honesty and ability to meet deadlines

Good to Have

• Experience in construction, agri-tech or manufacturing/trading business
• Knowledge of Google Sheets and online accounting tools
