DE NCLC Manager – Technology Consulting

EY GDS Consulting Digital is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Consultant Manager with strong subject matter expertise in SharePoint, SPFx, Microsoft 365 migrations and Nintex modernization. The role will lead teams delivering large Microsoft 365 migration and modernization programs for clients across regions.

The opportunity

We are looking for a client-focused technology leader who can shape and deliver Microsoft 365 transformation engagements. The role combines solution leadership, delivery management, stakeholder engagement and team development, with a preference for candidates who have led large-scale migration or modernization programs.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 migration and modernization projects across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, workflows and forms.
• Provide technical leadership for SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft 365 migrations, Nintex and Power Platform.
• Define the delivery approach, estimates, migration waves, resourcing, governance and quality controls.
• Lead assessments, identify risks and dependencies, and develop practical migration roadmaps.
• Guide migration factory setup, pilots, wave execution, cutover and transition.
• Oversee Nintex workflow and form modernization using Nintex Automation Cloud or Power Platform.
• Review solution designs, migration plans, remediation approaches and deployment documents.
• Lead delivery teams, remove blockers, monitor progress and maintain quality.
• Manage client, security, Microsoft and vendor stakeholders, decisions and dependencies.
• Support proposals, demonstrations, estimates, staffing plans and executive presentations.
• Promote reusable methods, automation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with security, quality, organizational and commercial requirements.

Skills and attributes

• 9-12 years of relevant technology consulting experience, including substantial experience in Microsoft 365, SharePoint migration or modernization.
• Strong SME-level knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, SPFx, Microsoft Graph, PnP PowerShell and Microsoft 365 architecture.
• Proven experience planning and delivering large Microsoft 365 migration programs involving SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Experience with migration assessment, remediation, migration factory operations, wave planning, velocity management, cutover and hypercare.
• Hands-on or solution oversight experience with migration tools such as ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, SharePoint Migration Tool or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of Nintex Workflow, Nintex Forms and Nintex Automation Cloud, with experience in workflow and forms modernization.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, and the ability to guide target-platform decisions.
• Experience developing migration and modernization accelerators.

Good to have Skills

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio or AI automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, permissions, Purview, security and compliance.
• Experience with tenant-to-tenant, acquisition, divestiture or hybrid migrations.
• Knowledge of Azure services, integrations, Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Relevant Microsoft, Nintex, project management or agile certifications.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services or consulting organization.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and SharePoint migration or modernization expertise.
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex technology engagements.
• Experience developing estimates, delivery plans, governance and stakeholder communications.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
• Led large-scale Microsoft 365 migration or modernization projects from discovery through transition.
• Managed multidisciplinary teams covering migration, development, workflow modernization, testing and change activities.
• Contributed to proposals, solutioning, capability development and client relationship growth.
