Job Description

  • Overview & Key DetailsJob Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)
  • Domain / Vertical: IT Software Sales / Enterprise ERP & SaaS Solutions
  • Sales Mode: B2B Field Sales & Corporate Visits (Manufacturing & Corporate Hubs)
  • Allowances & Benefits: Local Travelling Allowance + Outstation Allowance + Sales Incentives
  • Preferred Qualification / Background: Prior understanding/knowledge of IT Software & ERP systems
  • Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting: Generate qualified B2B leads through industry research, directory mapping, cold calling, and market outreach.
  • Corporate & Manufacturing Visits: Visit manufacturing plants, industrial areas, and corporate headquarters to connect with key decision-makers (CXOs, Managing Directors, IT Heads, Finance Managers).
  • Product Demos & Solution Pitching: Present, demonstrate, and position IT software products, ERP packages, and custom enterprise software solutions.
  • Requirement Mapping: Understand client business workflows, identify pain points, and suggest appropriate ERP/software modules.
  • Deal Negotiation & Closure: Prepare commercial proposals, handle price negotiations, and successfully close software contracts.
  • Regional & Outstation Expansion: Undertake outstation travel and regional tours across designated industrial clusters to expand the client base.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with the technical and delivery/implementation teams for seamless project handover.
  • Sales MIS & Reporting: Maintain daily client visit reports, pipeline updates, and conversion metrics in the CRM system.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of manufacturing/corporate visits conducted per week/month
  • Qualified pipeline generation & demo-to-close conversion ratio
  • Monthly and quarterly sales/revenue target achievement
  • New account acquisition in target industrial and manufacturing hubs
  • Key Notes & Eligibility★ Knowledge Preference: IT software sales background with knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Tally ERP, MS Dynamics, or custom ERPs) is highly preferred.
  • ✔ Travelling Allowances: Daily local travel allowances provided for all field visits.
  • ✔ Outstation Allowances: Complete boarding, lodging, and outstation allowances provided for travel outside base location.
  • ✔ Incentive Structure: High-earning potential with performance-driven sales incentives.
