Admission Counsellor

We are looking for an aggressive and empathetic Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can guide students through the admission process and—most importantly—convert inquiries into confirmed admissions. You must be comfortable with heavy calling, daily follow-ups, and using WhatsApp as a primary tool for student engagement to close deals quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling: Provide comprehensive academic counseling to students and parents regarding admission procedures for MBA, B.Tech, and other courses in India and overseas.

Lead Conversion: Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students. The primary goal is to convert leads into confirmed admissions within a short turnaround time.

Daily Follow-ups: Maintain a rigorous follow-up schedule. You must stay in touch with potential candidates daily to ensure they remain engaged and do not drop off.

Digital Engagement: actively use WhatsApp to send updates, brochures, and fee structures, and to answer student queries instantly to speed up the decision-making process.

Closing Admissions: Create a sense of urgency and guide the student/parent to pay the registration fees/booking amount to lock the seat.

Database Management: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and status updates in our CRM/Excel sheets.

Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly admission targets.

What We Are Looking For

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi, and [Local Language, e.g., Bengali]).

Sales Mindset: You must be result-oriented. We need someone who knows how to "close" a sale, not just provide information.

Responsiveness: Ability to respond to queries via call and WhatsApp promptly.

Patience & Empathy: Ability to handle anxious parents and confused students with professionalism.
