About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Finance & Accounts professional to manage finance, accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking and audit-related activities for our group of companies.

The ideal candidate should possess expert-level knowledge of finance and accounts, along with strong experience in handling statutory authorities, banks, auditors and government departments.

• Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory ComplianceManage ROC and Companies Act-related compliances.
• Handle PF, ESI, Factories Act and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Ensure timely filing, payment and maintenance of statutory records.
• Prepare responses to notices and correspondence from government departments.
• TaxationManage GST return preparation, filing and payments.
• Handle TDS filing and payments.
• Manage TCS filing and payments.
• Assist in Advance Tax planning and payments.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities on taxation matters.
• Handle tax-related notices, assessments and correspondence.
• Banking & FinancePrepare stock statements and CMA data.
• Coordinate with banks for Fund-Based and Non-Fund-Based facilities.
• Handle banking proposals, documentation and related correspondence.
• Monitor working capital and banking requirements of the group.
• Liaise with bankers for enhancement, renewal and other financial requirements.
• Accounts & FinalizationHandle finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure accurate maintenance and reconciliation of books of accounts.
• Assist in all types of audits, including:

• Statutory Audit
• Internal Audit
• Tax Audit
• GST Audit
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary schedules, documents and explanations.
• Government & Regulatory LiaisonHandle correspondence and follow-ups with regulatory bodies and government offices.
• Coordinate with WBIDC, WBPCB, DVC and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare appropriate replies to notices and official communications.
• Candidate ProfileCA Inter Passed candidates preferred.
• CA Final Pursuing or CA Dropped candidates with strong practical knowledge may also be considered.
• Around 10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, banking and finalization of accounts.
• Experience in manufacturing/trading organizations will be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle finance and compliance functions.
• Strong knowledge of applicable accounting, taxation and corporate laws.
