Job Description

  • Assist the Chinese Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation.
  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, meat, and other ingredients as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Help with the preparation of Chinese dishes as per the chef’s instructions.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food items and kitchen ingredients.
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Follow food safety standards and kitchen hygiene guidelines.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Chinese kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Chinese food preparation will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good teamwork, discipline, and a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Freshers with a genuine interest in kitchen work may also apply.
