Field Collection Executive

Gold Mark Settlement is looking for a Field Executive / Recovery Executive who can handle field sales, client visits, gold-loan related work, customer follow-ups and, when required, collection/recovery assignments.

The ideal candidate should be confident, presentable, responsible and comfortable travelling in the field, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Candidates with prior experience in jewellery shops, gold loan companies, NBFCs, banks, gold buying, financial services, loan recovery/collection, or field sales will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Sales & Business Development

● Visit prospective customers and generate new business leads.

● Identify customers requiring gold-loan settlement, gold-loan assistance or old gold/silver selling.

● Explain GMS services, procedures and documentation clearly to customers.

● Develop relationships with customers, jewellery businesses, gold-loan customers and local contacts.

● Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into business.

● Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients.

Gold Loan & Customer Assistance

● Visit customers regarding their gold-loan accounts and understand their requirements.

● Assist customers with the documentation and process required for settlement-related services.

● Coordinate with the office team and relevant parties to ensure smooth completion of cases.

● Conduct field verification and collect necessary documents/information as instructed.

● Maintain accurate records of customer visits, follow-ups and case status.

Collection / Recovery Responsibilities

● Handle field collection and recovery assignments when required.

● Visit customers for payment follow-ups and outstanding dues.

● Communicate professionally with customers regarding pending payments and settlement commitments.

● Follow up on overdue cases and report the status to the management.

● Coordinate with the internal team for difficult or delayed cases.

● All recovery activities must be conducted professionally, respectfully and in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Reporting & Administration

● Maintain daily visit reports and customer follow-up records.

● Update the management regarding leads, collections, customer meetings and case progress.

● Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.

● Achieve assigned monthly business and field-performance targets.

● Candidates with 1–5 years of relevant field experience are preferred.

● Candidates with strong local market knowledge and field contacts are preferred.

● Must be comfortable travelling extensively within Kolkata and nearby areas.

● Must have good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

● Should be comfortable meeting customers personally and handling difficult conversations professionally.

● Basic smartphone and WhatsApp knowledge is required.

● A two-wheeler and valid driving licence will be an advantage.

IMPORTANT

This is a field-intensive position. The candidate should be comfortable travelling, meeting customers at their locations, following up on pending cases and taking responsibility for assigned cases from initial contact through completion.
