Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on and responsible HR professional who can independently manage the company's complete HR function. The candidate will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, performance management, employee engagement, discipline, statutory compliance, HR documentation and employee exits. The ideal candidate should be capable of building systems, maintaining discipline, working closely with management and department heads, and independently handling day-to-day HR matters. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning Understand manpower requirements across departments and coordinate recruitment. Prepare and maintain Job Descriptions. Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies and references. Screen CVs and conduct initial HR interviews. Coordinate interviews with management/department heads. Manage offer, salary negotiation and joining formalities. Maintain recruitment tracker and candidate database. Manage recruitment consultants and monitor hiring timelines. Assist management in manpower planning and organisation structure. 2. Employee Onboarding & Documentation Manage complete joining and induction process. Collect and verify employee documents and KYC. Prepare appointment letters and other HR documents. Explain company policies, attendance, leave, working hours and code of conduct. Maintain complete and confidential physical/digital employee records. Maintain employee master data and HRMS records. Track probation and confirmation of employees. 3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination Manage daily attendance and biometric/eSSL records. Monitor late coming, absenteeism, early leaving and overtime. Manage leave applications and leave records. Prepare monthly attendance and payroll inputs. Coordinate with Accounts for salary processing. Ensure accurate employee salary, attendance and deduction records. Resolve employee payroll-related queries. 4. Performance Management Establish and maintain KRAs/KPIs in coordination with department heads. Coordinate performance reviews and appraisals. Track probation, confirmation, increments and promotions. Identify underperforming employees and coordinate Performance Improvement Plans where required. Maintain performance records. Support management in developing a performance-oriented culture. 5. HR Policies & Employee Relations Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures. Ensure employees understand and follow company policies. Handle employee grievances and workplace issues. Manage disciplinary matters and policy violations. Conduct employee engagement and feedback initiatives. Monitor employee satisfaction, retention and attrition. Conduct exit interviews and analyse reasons for employee turnover. 6. Training & Development Identify training requirements across departments. Coordinate induction and employee training programmes. Maintain training records. Organise behavioural, technical, sales and other relevant training programmes. Identify employee development and career-growth requirements. 7. Statutory & HR Compliance Coordinate applicable labour and employment compliances. Manage/coordinate PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity and other applicable statutory requirements. Maintain required registers, records and documentation. Maintain an HR compliance calendar. Coordinate with external consultants/legal professionals wherever required. Ensure POSH requirements and related processes are appropriately maintained. 8. Employee Exit Management Process resignations and coordinate notice periods. Manage handover and clearance procedures. Ensure return of company assets. Conduct exit interviews. Coordinate full & final settlement with Accounts. Issue relieving/experience letters and other applicable documents. Ensure proper closure of employee records and system access. 9. HR MIS & Management Reporting Prepare regular HR reports for management covering: Employee headcount Department-wise manpower Recruitment status New joiners and exits Attendance and absenteeism Leave Attrition Payroll/manpower cost Probation and confirmation
