# Job Opening: IT & Technical Support Engineer
**Company:** Trustnet Consultancy LLP
**Location:** Kolkata / Client Sites
**Employment:** Full-Time | On Company Payroll
We are looking for a **Technical support engineer.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and be **willing to learn new technologies and work on-site with clients.**
### Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for **Desktop & Laptop systems**
* Basic troubleshooting of **Networking, LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi**
* Assist with **Firewall configuration and troubleshooting**
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of **CCTV Surveillance Systems**
* Installation and support of **Biometric / Attendance Systems**
* Client-site deployment, installation and commissioning of IT and security solutions
* Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity-related issues
* Coordinate with senior engineers during project deployments
* Maintain proper documentation of installations and service activities
* Interact professionally with clients and understand their technical requirements
* Basic knowledge of:
* Desktop & Laptop hardware/software
* Networking
* Wi-Fi
* Firewall
* CCTV
* Biometric / Attendance Systems
* **Ready to travel to client sites** for installation and support
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently as well as with a technical team
* **SAP knowledge will be an added advantage**
* Candidates without SAP knowledge can also apply. **Training will be provided.**
