Job Description
Must have knowledge in Tally Prime & Excel.
- Daily Bookkeeping & Transactions: Record daily business transactions, post and process journal entries, and maintain general ledgers.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Issue customer invoices, track and collect overdue payments, process vendor bills, and manage petty cash or payment requests.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
- Financial Reporting Support: Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, trial balances, and weekly or monthly financial reports.
- Period-End Closings: Assist senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Audits & Compliance: Gather documentation, organize records, and assist with internal or external audits as well as statutory compliance (such as tax filings or TDS/GST/payroll tax tracking depending on the region).
- Software & Data Maintenance: Update financial databases, manage expense reports, and use accounting tools like QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or Excel.
