Senior Accountant & Inventory Manager

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong expertise in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, procurement, and inventory management. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain complete books of accounts using Tally.
• Prepare Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and financial reports.
• Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, and daily accounting operations.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payments.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST calculations, return preparation, filing, and reconciliation.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, deposits, and returns.
• Ensure compliance with Provident Fund (PF), ESI, and Professional Tax (P-Tax).
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

3. Procurement, Purchase & Inventory Management

• Monitor procurement activities, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
• Verify purchase bills, stock receipts, and vendor payments.
• Conduct stock reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor purchase costs, inventory consumption, wastage, and cost control.
• Coordinate with vendors and management for efficient procurement.

4. Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare MIS reports using Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Develop financial summaries, expense analyses, and inventory reports.
• Monitor budgets, operational expenses, and profitability.
• Submit periodic financial and inventory reports to management.
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Excellent working knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax.
• Experience preparing Balance Sheets and financial statements.
• Practical knowledge of procurement, purchasing, inventory control, and vendor management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain financial accuracy.

Preferred Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
