Role Overview- We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Site Accountant to oversee on-site day-to-day accounts, petty cash management, vendor billing, and labor muster roll reconciliation across our active project sites. The selected candidate will coordinate closely with site engineers, store managers, and the head office finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Petty Cash & Site Accounting: Maintain site cash books, record daily operational expenses, and process vouchers with necessary approvals.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Billing: Verify incoming invoices, measurement sheets, delivery challans (PO/GRN), and forward approved bills to the head office accounts department.
• Labor Muster Roll & Wage Tracking: Audit daily labor attendance logs and muster rolls in coordination with site supervisors for timely wage settlements.
• Material & Inventory Audits: Reconcile inbound materials, issue slips, and stock consumption logs with store in-charges.
• Reporting & MIS: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site expenditure summaries and submit them to head office management.
• Compliance & Record Keeping: Ensure strict adherence to accounting procedures, statutory documentation, and voucher archiving.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce/Accounting.
• Experience: 2–5 years of proven on-site accounting experience (preferably in civil construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Tally (Prime / ERP 9), MS Excel, and basic accounting software.
• Key Attributes: High integrity, practical problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills for coordinating with site teams.
