*Job Title: Kitchen Helper / Commis Chef*

**Location:** NOOK, Lucknow

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Helper with hands-on experience in preparing Neapolitan pizzas, continental dishes, pasta, sandwiches, and gourmet burgers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food, maintain high standards of hygiene, and be capable of supporting daily kitchen operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and stretch Neapolitan pizza dough as per recipe standards.

* Assist in dough preparation, fermentation, portioning, and storage.

* Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes, including pasta, sandwiches, burgers, and side dishes.

* Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

* Perform ingredient preparation such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and organizing mise en place.

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.

* Monitor food inventory and report shortages to the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager.

* Follow food safety and kitchen SOPs at all times.

* Assist in receiving and storing deliveries according to food safety guidelines.

* Support the kitchen team during peak service hours.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a café, restaurant, pizzeria, or cloud kitchen.

* Practical experience in:

 * Neapolitan pizza preparation and baking

 * Pizza dough making, fermentation, and proofing

 * Continental cuisine

 * Pasta preparation

 * Sandwich and burger assembly

 * Basic sauce preparation

* Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with pizza ovens and commercial kitchen equipment.

* Knowledge of inventory management and stock handling.

* Culinary training or hotel management background will be an added advantage.
