Senior Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Maintain books of accounts and financial records accurately.
• Handle bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and review GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports for management.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all financial transactions.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding payments, expenses, and account-related matters.

Computer & Technical Skills

• Good computer knowledge is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of accounting software/Tally is preferred.
• Good knowledge of formulas, data handling, and preparation of reports.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and accounting processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in the garment/manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
