Category Manager

The Category Manager will oversee specific product/ products and shall be responsible for ensuring optimal sourcing, pricing, services, authenticity and overall vendor relationship management. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ludhiana and involves managing procurement strategies, tracking category performance, and collaborating with project, finance, and operations teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing spend and market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating contracts with vendors, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification sought is graduation, however proficiency in Office Suite and good communication skills in English, Hindi and Punjabi are must.
• Candidates should have personal conveyance, a valid DL and shall be open for traveling as per business requirements.
• Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation and Procurement skills to manage supplier selection, negotiate terms, and optimize cost and quality.
• Candidates should possess interpersonal skills, and shall be good at relationship building.
• Candidates should have excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The position is open for freshers, however experienced candidates shall have an edge.
• Reporting and feedback are must, it is mandatory to comply with daily reporting, weekly review and monthly review.
