Education Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding available courses and career options.
• Understand students' requirements, interests, qualifications, and career goals.
• Explain course details, syllabus, duration, fees, batch timings, training methodology, and career opportunities.
• Handle enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and online platforms.
• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
• Convert enquiries and leads into successful admissions.
• Maintain student and lead records in CRM/Excel.
• Coordinate with trainers and branch teams regarding batches and student requirements.
• Handle students' and parents' queries professionally.
• Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
• Maintain a positive relationship with students throughout the admission process.
• Participate in promotional activities, seminars, workshops, and admission campaigns.

Required Skills

• Good convincing and counselling skills.
• Ability to understand student requirements and suggest suitable courses.
• Good Hindi and basic-to-good English communication.
• Strong follow-up and calling skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM.
• Positive attitude and target-oriented approach.
• Good negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
