E-commerce Operations Executive

We are starting a new e-commerce business and are looking for a person to help us with the sourcing and day-to-day work of the business.

We will provide the product categories. Your job will be to source products within those categories and help us manage the daily operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Source products from manufacturers, wholesalers and suppliers.
• Contact and communicate with vendors.
• Visit suppliers, markets and other places when required.
• Help with product purchasing and supplies.
• Help with the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce business.
• Handle basic computer and e-commerce work.
• Help with orders, packing, shipping and inventory when required.
• Maintain basic records and information on the computer.
• Coordinate with suppliers, delivery partners and other vendors.
• Take care of other tasks needed to keep the business running smoothly.

What We Are Looking For

• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable talking to vendors and suppliers.
• Comfortable going outside for work when required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to use Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp, email and the internet.
• Hardworking, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to handle different types of work as the business grows.

A driving licence and own two-wheeler would be an advantage.

Experience

Experience in e-commerce, sourcing, purchasing, retail, wholesale or operations would be helpful, but is not compulsory.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and willing to learn.
